DJ 4-Bets Pratt on Flop (E#11-1H)

DJ Alexander chose aggression. Multiple times.

Facing a limp from Dennis Pratt in the hijack, DJ Alexander raised his button to 25,000 on blinds of 3,000/6,000/6,000. Pratt called.

The flop came down J♣5♣5♥. Pratt started with a check. Alexander continued for 30,000, which Pratt raised to 80,000. Alexander didn't take too long before announcing a raise to 140,000. Pratt's cards quickly hit the muck.

Alexander showed an 8♦ and dragged in the pot. 22 players remain with 20 players finishing in the money and 16 bagging up for Monday's Day 2 restart.

Alexander is no stranger to deep runs in large field events with a WSOP bracelet finish in 2021. According to his Hendon Mob, Alexander has nearly $3.3 million in live tournament earnings with his best live cash as $754,499 for second place in the 2017 WSOP Millionaire Maker.
