Turton Takes Down the River (1D)
Flight 1D of the Dallas Duel is definitely duking it out. Jeffrey Turton and Mohammad Nabatian have faced off a few times throughout level 12 with blinds at 2,000/4,000/4,000.
Turton opened UTG to 8,000. Nabatian made the call in the cutoff and Carl Lee defended his big blind.
The flop brought K♦T♠5♦. Lee started the action with a check. Turton continued for 13,000 and Nabatian called before Lee folded.
The J♥ on the turn didn't slow Turton down. He continued with his betting lead for 30,000 which Nabatian called.
The 8♥ river seemed harmless. Turton went for 75,000 but didn't get action on this last street.
Action continues as players approach a 15-minute break at the end of this level. Players also are approaching the money bubble as only 11 players will finish in the money.
