Nlemchi Triples with Aces (Day Two)

On blinds of 40,000/80,000/80,000, Ike Nlemchi opened to 240,000 from the cutoff. Xiaosong Zhang, the largest stack at the table, moved all-in from the small blind. William Farquhar called for his tournament life out of the big blind and Nlemchi quickly called to put himself at risk as well.

Nlemchi rolled over aces. Zhang had moved all-in with 7♦3♠ and Farquhar tabled queens for the outside pot.

Nlemchi was the effective stack for 920,000. The dealer pulled in 2,760,000 for the main pot. Farquhar and Xiao were eligible for the 650,000 in the side pot.

Nlemchi: A♠A♣ (all-in)
Farquhar: Q♣Q♦ (all-in)
Zhang: 7♦3♠
Board: 9♣5♣5♥J♥9♦

The paired flop didn't provide much of a sweat. The aces and queens held for their respective pots.

20 players remain with a current payout of $1,800 on the $200 buy-in event.
