Tag Out Used in Tag Team Event
Event #12 has some fun wrinkles to it including a "tag out card." Players have the option to use the tag out in order to tag in their partner to finish playing the current level. Mitchell Lloyd and Sam Morris used it while three-handed.
After the first hand of the 15,000/30,000/30,000 blind level, Mitchell Lloyd tagged in his partner Sam Morris. Zach Castro had just jammed into Lloyd's big blind and Lloyd was ready for Morris to take over for the final levels of play.
Castro and Morris have more hand history together and as Morris sat down he said, "alright bud, let's battle a little bit."
Not long after Morris was tagged in, he managed to double up through Castro blind versus blind. Morris open-jammed from the small blind and Castro called with an overwhelming chip lead.
Morris: Q♦8♦
Castro: 2♣2♦
Board: T♦9♠4♦K♦9♣
The three remaining teams have $2,000 locked up but everyone is focused on the first place prize of $5,520 plus the bragging rights.
