Tag Team Three-Way All-In on Final Table
Team Cortinas had recently doubled up with pocket eights and Lexyi Cortinas was right back into the action just a few hands later.
Towards the end of 5,000/10,000/10,000, there was an UTG open to 20,000 from Zach Castro. Jae Chung announced a raise to 55,000 from UTG+2. Chung didn't leave himself much behind and the table definitely noticed.
Lexyi Cortinas was in the hijack and apologetically raised to 155,000. Action folded back around to Castro and Castro moved all-in as the covering stack. Chung jokingly asked how much as he slid the rest of his chips forward for 71,000 effective. Cortinas called and said, "I'm sorry I have to."
Castro: A♣K♠
Chung: 8♥8♦
Cortinas: Q♦Q♣
Board: 7♥7♦2♦3♥3♠
The queens held on the paired flop. Castro and Chung were denied backdoor draws. Chung needed a black eight and Castro was drawing at his over-cards. Running threes delivered the knockout and massive double up for Cortinas.
